The conference will kick off Friday, May 3 at the old Statler, a former hotel located in downtown Buffalo @ 107 Delaware Avenue, a short walk from all conference hotels.
Saturday and Sunday events will be located in Kapoor Hall on the South Campus of the University at Buffalo. South Campus is accessible via subway from downtown Buffalo.
Saturday evening will feature an opening reception at a popup gallery in downtown Buffalo, located at 743 Main Street.

Transportation to and within Buffalo
Buffalo is best served by the Buffalo International Airport (BUF), with frequent connections to national and international locations through nearby New York, Boston, Chicago and Toronto airports. From here, downtown Buffalo is a short 15-minute ride by taxi or hotel shuttle.
Downtown Buffalo, where hotel venues and the first day venue are located, is accessible by Interstate 90 to the east and the Peace Bridge to Canada to the west. Driving to Buffalo takes about 7 hours from New York and about 2 hours from Toronto. For participants flying into Toronto airport, there are shuttle busses that go to downtown Toronto, where an inexpensive bus regularly drives into downtown Buffalo as well.
Public Transportation within Buffalo
Friday’s venue is a short walk from all conference hotels. Saturday and Sunday’s events at Kapoor Hall are easily reached by the city’s one metro line, which has a station at Fountain Plaza, on the corner of Main Street at Chippewa Street. This terminates at University station, from which signs will indicate the 5-minute walk to Kapoor Hall.
